HPIC Depave Day is this Saturday – March 22

We’re building an oasis in the asphalt – a courtyard, replacing a portion of the parking lot with permeable pavers and more gardens. So we have some asphalt that needs to be ripped up and taken away. Bring your muscles and whatever you need to vent this Saturday and help us hoist chunks of asphalt outta here. The asphalt will be prepped, scored and ready to rumble into a big Dumpster that will cart it away.

We will start at 10am till however long it takes. Lunch will be provided and activities for all ages. And yes, there will be beer and other refreshments after all that hard work.

Movie Night this Friday – March 21st

Doors open at 6:30 pm, movie at 7. Free admission. Volunteers will be selling popcorn, candy and other movie fare. Bring blankets and pillows or sit in our chairs. This is an all ages event. Bring your friends, family and neighbors.

Movie hint: A specially trained squad of guinea pigs is dispatched to stop a diabolical billionaire from taking over the world. This 2009 movie is rated PG.

Highland Park UNCORKED is coming May 17th!

Highland Park UNCORKED is now seeking Sponsors

and Raffle Donations!

Did you know that the HPIC is owned by the neighborhood and run by members of the club, who volunteer their time? We are the ONLY club in Seattle like this, making Highland Park a truly unique place to live.  A community creates a sense of camaraderie, belonging, security and support and the club is here to support the spirit of community by bringing neighbors together for wonderful events like Corner Bar, Tailgate parties, weekly fitness classes and special events.

On May 17th, we are having a REALLY special event, Highland Park Uncorked, which is our annual wine tasting event. Pre-registration will start soon, but first we need sponsors to help make this event a reality. Following are the different levels of sponsorship packages. WHAT TO DONATE: We are looking for donated gifts that are of a wine and/or food theme. We also appreciate donations that highlight art (especially local artists), home goods, and gift baskets from local Seattle businesses. We also accept gift certificates to your business (preferably paired with a tangible gift item). We regretfully can’t accept ‘gift with purchase’ or ‘discounts’ as raffle items.
