Movie Night this Friday – August 16th

Doors open at 6:30pm, movie at 7. Free admission. Volunteers will be selling popcorn, candy and other movie fare. Bring blankets and pillows or sit in our chairs. This is an all ages event. Bring your friends, family and neighbors.

Movie hint: After Bastian is harassed by bullies, he holes up in his school’s attic with a book about Fantasia, a world of dragons, racing snails and other magical creatures. He follows the harrowing journey of Atreyu, who must save the threatened land. This 1984 movie is rated PG.

Giant Garage Sale at HPIC this Saturday! August 10th; 9am-3pm

Come one, come all, to the fifth annual Highland Park Improvement Club giant garage sale! This year with even more amazing stuff that we know you have been looking for including:

Miscellaneous LP records, 100s of 45s of selected artists from an old jukebox business. Many duplicates and jukebox labels. Also have many 45 picture sleeves from the 80’s without the records.

 Relax in a gently used hammock.

There is also a great child’s easel with white board and paper option on one side, chalk board on other side.

And a kangaroo climber.
